Book Review: Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus, by Riordan, Rick

Abo Ewimbi

My name is Abo Ewimbi and I’m reviewing Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus, by Riordan, Rick. It’s a fantasy book, for people about 9-16 years of age. People interested in mythology, comedy, drama, and adventure would be interested in reading this book. In  the book, you have the demigods of the Argo II are on their final voyage, prepared to finally face their enemy, Gaea. Back home, their comrades are preparing for war, and everything is in turmoil. They slowly await a response to their prayers from the gods, but how long will the gods make them wait? Overall, I’d give the book a 4.5/5 because, though the book was written well, it wasn’t paced as nicely. It felt a bit rushed, compared to the previous books in the series, making it not as much of a good completer to the Heroes of Olympus series.
