Indoor Track

The Northwest track team is known around the county, state, and country for being a very elite team. The Track & Field team is next to unstoppable. They have won states for indoor the past three years and are the reigning outdoor state champions as well.

Not only has the track team been successful as a unit but the head coach Robert Youngblood has trained many individual  state champions and division one athletes. Youngblood has put athletes into major D1 schools like Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, and University of  Maryland Eastern Shore just to name a few.

The Jags are off to a great start. There are many underclassmen with top times for their events in the state. So far there have been two meets this indoor season. Both the boys team and girls team have won with flying colors. The jags have averaged 150 points per meet with the second place school having no more than 60 points. The boys team is led by Josh Netterville who is currently undefeated in both the 55 meter dash and the 300 meter dash this year. The girls team is led by Taylor Wright who is also undefeated in the 55 meter dash this season.
