While the Jaguars were battling to stay alive in the Regionals game against Blair, the Jags were trailing 2-0 in the last inning when a storm forced the umpires to call the game. The game was to be finished the next day.  That night the Jaguars went back to their home, with a mentality to win, and to not give up. Everybody prepared themselves to use this last chance hitting to win this game. After 24 hours, The boys came out with runners on second and third with one out in the bottom of the 7th. Ryan Kennington comes to the plate and drives a ball to right field, that the fielder made an error on scoring 2 runs. Ryan Kennington got to third base on the error. Dean Edmundson then came up and hit a sacrifice fly to left field just far enough to score Kennington. Next game was the State- Semis game against Eleanor Roosevelt. In this game the Jaguars were up the whole game. Never losing the winning mindset to run away with a 4-1 victory. This victory included a monster home run for Michael Yuille to put them up by more in the later innings. With Jaguars coming out on top, they advanced to the State Championship game against Howard. The team showed up hours before game time and around 2 hours before the other team to get a clear look of where the biggest game of their life will take place, and to mentally prepare themselves. When game time arrived, the whole team was ready.  During the game , Michael Yuille started on the mound and completely shut Howard down only allowing 3 hits. Yuille also had a great performance at the plate, hitting a double and a single to secure the Jaguar lead. After Yuille pitched Dean Edmundson (Meats) came to the mound, starting off slow, but later catching fire. And to finish off the game, Griffin Bubb came in to pitch in the last inning. The student section at the game was roaring all game, but especially in the last inning, helping Bubb perform. Griffin Bubb walked one runner, and secured 3 outs. The Jags were winning the whole game, to pull off an 8-0 win to end the dramatic season, in the best way possible.
