Student Protests

It was a normal Monday at Northwest High School November 14, 2016. The Northwest High School Students were determined to get their point across with how they felt about their rights. Some of the Northwest High school students started protesting in school at lunch time. It was a very peaceful protest, as students decided to leave the building and head towards the football field. More and more students saw the stance being made by others and decided to join the protest.

Later in the week the Northwest students decided to join amongst the protests of neighboring schools. The students decided to protest and voice their opinion down Great Seneca Highway. Seneca Valley met up with Northwest and walked to get the Quince Orchard students. The students felt like getting the word around school wasn’t enough. So the protest on Great Seneca was for their voice to get heard outside the school. Amongst the kids there were a lot of strong opinions on immigration , equal rights , also the presidency.
